Prerequisite: System Bootcamp (Level 5)

Performance assumes the OS is already installed. If you haven't completed System Bootcamp, start there — you can't tune what you haven't built.

Three scoreboards. One firm.

Every firm owner tracks some version of these three categories. Performance Bootcamp makes them the operating scoreboard — numbers the OS moves week over week, not a partner meeting gut check.

Scoreboard 01 · Revenue

Sell more advisory. Win more proposals.

The OS frees the partner from production. Performance turns that freed time into MRR. CAS packaging, proposal velocity, win-rate, and client-tier mix.

  • CAS MRR — monthly recurring advisory revenue
  • Proposal win-rate — tracked by segment
  • Proposal cycle time — ask to close
  • Client-tier mix — moving clients up the value stack
Scoreboard 02 · Execution

Lift realization. Cut turnaround.

The OS shortens the production line; Performance makes sure every inch of that shortening shows up in realization and turnaround — not just staff comfort.

  • Realization rate — by partner and service line
  • Close turnaround — books closed in N days
  • Return turnaround — intake to e-file
  • Partner hours on production — falling, not flat
Scoreboard 03 · Risk

Be audit-ready. Every week.

Most firms run "audit-ready" once a year under duress. Performance installs the rhythm and the metrics that keep the firm ready every Monday morning.

  • Review-note rate — tracked by preparer
  • Tie-out completeness — % of files with clean tie-outs
  • PBC turnaround — from ask to received
  • Exception backlog — open flags by age

The Level 6 scorecard.

By the end of week 4, this is what the partner dashboard looks like. Every number has a tuning playbook behind it — installed during the cohort.

The 4-week tuning cycle.

One week per scoreboard. Week 4 is integration — you leave with a firm that moves all three at once, not in sequence.

Week 01 · Revenue

CAS & advisory engine

Turn the OS into a proposal factory. Package, price, and close advisory at 2–3× your current velocity.

  • CAS package build
  • Proposal agent
  • Client-tier scoring
  • Win-rate playbook
Week 02 · Execution

Realization & turnaround

Lift realization, cut turnaround. Where the OS still leaks — preparer handoffs, partner review bottlenecks — we close the holes.

  • Realization audit
  • Handoff optimization
  • Review-gate tuning
  • Turnaround SLAs
Week 03 · Risk

Audit-ready rhythm

Install the weekly rhythm that keeps every file tied out and every exception closed. Busy season stops being a fire drill.

  • Tie-out automation
  • Review-note playbooks
  • Exception triage
  • PBC velocity
Week 04 · Integration

One scoreboard. All three.

Bring the three scoreboards into a single partner operating rhythm. Monday review. Weekly tune. Monthly reset.

  • Unified dashboard
  • Weekly operating rhythm
  • Monthly partner review
  • L6 proof delivery

The metric moves we tune for.

Every cohort tunes these nine metrics. Your targets get set in week 1 against your actual baseline — the numbers below are typical from prior cohorts.

What typical firms walk out with.

Three sketches from the kinds of firms in scope — composite, not named, but representative of prior cohort outcomes.

12-person multi-service

Bookkeeping + tax + light CAS

Stuck at $480K CAS ARR for two years. Partner buried in 1040s through April. Week 1 of Performance unpacked CAS; week 4 shipped a tiered package and a proposal agent.

$480K → $760K
CAS ARR run-rate, post-cohort
28-person regional

Audit + tax + payroll

Audit realization was leaking through PBC delays and review-note rework. Tuning cycle closed tie-outs and routed review notes back to preparers in real time.

74% → 96%
Tie-out clean rate
6-person boutique

CAS-led + tax overflow

Partner was the bottleneck on every proposal. After Performance, proposals ship in 4 days with a senior associate driving the draft — partner only signs.

14 → 4 days
Proposal cycle time

Level 6 or we keep tuning.

By the end of week 4, the cohort should have moved at least 3 of the 9 metrics against their own baseline. If not, we extend the tuning cycle until the scoreboard moves. No extra cost.

FAQ

Why is this the first really expensive tier?
Because this is where the OS turns into dollars. The Sprint proves the build works, the System installs it, Performance ties it to the scoreboards that let you price the engagement against ROI. $5K at Performance tends to pay back inside one quarter on CAS uplift alone.
Can we skip System Bootcamp and come straight here?
No. Performance tunes an installed OS — there's nothing to tune without it. If you're already running orchestrated agents at Level 5 through a different path, reach out and we'll scope whether you can enroll directly.
Our firm is small (2–10 people). Is Performance still worth it?
Yes — arguably more. Smaller firms have less bureaucracy between metric and action. The moves you install in 4 weeks show up in your partner comp that quarter.
What if we don't have audit in our mix?
The Risk scoreboard still runs — it just points at review-note rate, books-to-tax tie-outs, and exception closeout instead of PBCs. Every multi-service firm has a Risk story.
What about realization if our fee model is fixed?
Fixed-fee firms tune "effective realization" — hours per engagement against scoped hours. Same concept, different denominator. The playbook adapts.
Is the scoreboard confidential?
Yes. Your numbers never leave your tenancy. Cohort discussions use anonymized deltas ("up 15pp", "cut by half") — never absolute figures attributed to a specific firm.
How is this different from a typical coaching program?
Coaching programs run off partner conviction and monthly check-ins. Performance Bootcamp runs off the OS — the numbers move because the agents and routing move, not because a partner promised to. The scoreboard is automated, not self-reported.

The OS is running. Make it pay.

System installs the machine. Performance turns it into revenue, hours, and audit-ready files. One month. $4,999. Level 6 or we keep tuning.
